Marine biomes are mainly located in oceans. They include the photic and aphotic zones of the ocean. The photic zone is shallow enough for sunlight to penetrate it and it includes costal ecosystms like bays, rocky shores, sandy beaches, and mudflats. The aphotic zone is deepest least explored area of the ocean and it receives no sunlight. The average temperature of all oceans is 39°F (4°C). However the climate does not really affect the marine biome. Instead, the marine biome affects the climate of the land. Depending on how close an area is to the ocean the precipitation and overall temperature of the land could change. The temperature of the marine varies depending on your location on earth. As you get closer to the equator it is as warm as bathing water, as you get closer to the poles it gets freezing cold. The sunlight also affects the temperature. On the very surface of the water it is pretty warm, but as you go deeper down it gets colder.
